Hi, I’m Kendra and I am a professional graphic designer with a life-long background in illustration and fine art. I offer valuable creative solutions, insight and experience needed to take your vision, brand or business to the next level. I come motivated to conquer any creative endeavor — whether it’s creating the perfect business card, designing an eye-catching logo, developing unique illustrations, or curating a stunning work of art. I have a BFA in graphic design — a BFA in studio art — and nearly a decade of experience designing professionally for a wide variety of clients/industries.

I have been an avid illustrator since childhood and began my painting career at age 15. In the studio, my traditional artwork is an extension of self — often stemming directly from my thoughts, feelings, or whatever consumes me in the moment. I am fascinated by color-theory and love finding ways to enhance my work through the manipulation of color. The materials and subject matter of my art tend to reflect the strong connection I feel with nature through the use of wood, stone, crystal & other natural treasures. I am experienced in working with many traditional mediums, but my weapons of choice are acrylic paint, ink pens, markers, colored pencil & watercolor.

Navigating the digital world of graphic design consistently pushes me to evolve and challenge my creativity in new ways. My design process relies heavily on preliminary research, structured goals and an intentional plan of execution. I often integrate hand-drawn illustrations into my design work using a Wacom tablet or Apple pencil. 

I graduated from Marietta College in 2016 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a BFA in Studio Art (with a focus in illustration & painting). I accepted my first full-time design position at a commercial print shop in 2015 where I spent 4+ years mastering the ins-and outs of designing for print/press production. I ventured south to Atlanta, GA in 2019, where I spent a couple years developing my skills at a fast-paced marketing agency. I relocated to Birmingham, Alabama in 2021 — and in 2022 I made the decision to freelance full-time while immersing myself into the local art scene, post-covid. I am currently based near Cleveland, Ohio and continue to freelance and create art full-time.
